I have a personal connection to the kind of conditions this project is about, which is part of why I started looking into it in the first place. There's surprisingly little tooling built for chronic skin conditions - most existing research and products are aimed at more common, acute ones - and that gap is what got me curious about whether AI and machine learning could help close it.
